The height, proportions, position and orientation have been studied precisely in order to dialogue with the existing Courts and the other surrounding buildings. Saudi architecture unquestionably calls for few windows. The result respects the real and authentic proportion between solid and void.
This is a major challenge and the original idea of the project promotes no windows on the façade, with offices looking towards the open facades of the courtyards. We search for direct views to the North, as one would desire from the offices, but with recessed openings to minimize the number of direct openings in the facade.
